Are you dealing with digestive issues? Lack of energy? Sleep or weight problems? Your solution will start with a really good discussion in my unique office setting, which will allow for adequate time to cover your concerns and needs. You will feel like you’re talking to a friend, but one who has all the knowledge and skills of the provider at your primary care office.
From there we'll seek to understand the problem(s) even better. I might suggest labs or tests - things like stool analysis or a vitamin D level, to provide additional information and insight.
We will use our discussion and any testing/labs to create a plan that is truly reasonable for you, based on your own lifestyle, finances, personality, and desires.
My hope is to help you create a sustainable lifestyle that helps you stay energized, fulfilled, relaxed and healthy.
We’ve all been told it’s important to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, but it can be challenging to follow through due to lack of time, energy, or stress. You may also know you need to eat “better”, but have not been provided resources or specific recommendations on how to make this change. There are many chronic conditions that respond favorably to tailored eating plans. We will collaborate to see how you can have an eating life you love, while also serving your body’s needs.

You have probably heard about the importance of gut health, and how the gut microbiome is linked with many chronic conditions such as autoimmune diseases, skin issues, food sensitivities, and more. With so many products on the market, it can be overwhelming to know where to start with improving your gut health and underlying health issues. There is no substitute for working with a licensed healthcare provider like an integrative nurse practitioner who can help you truly determine if poor gut health is contributing to your medical issues and how to improve it. I would love to be that provider for you!
Gut Health
Tests or labs may help us figure out what is going on with your body so we can develop a tailored approach that really works. My goal is use these as needed to complement lifestyle approaches, while not overwhelming you at the same time. This may aid in skipping some of the trial and error, and fast forward to the part where you start to see improvement.
Testing
Have you been told you need to exercise more? Many people assume this means running or some form of cardiovascular workout. The truth is, exercise can take many shapes and forms, and serve your body’s needs in different ways. You may need to focus on taking more steps, integrate yoga, or focus on strength versus stamina. We will uncover what works best for you to incorporate into your daily routine.
Exercise
Stress plays a huge role in our physical, mental, and emotional health, and prolonged stress can lead to serious health issues. Strangely enough, the health solutions offered to us often just increase our stress levels! How many times have you tried to do a "diet" and only ended up more stretched for time or feeling worse about yourself because you couldn't stick to it? There are many ways to manage stress - and I'll start with compassion and genuine understanding for your situation as we figure out how you can realistically manage your stress levels.
